A LITTLE ABOUT EMILY
"I have found a desire within myself that no experience in this world can satisfy; the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." C.S. Lewis
WHAT AM I MOST PROUD OF?
My family. My husband and three kids are way more than I could ever ask for or deserve. I have worked hard as a mom and given a lot as a wife and have still managed to mess a bunch of stuff up. Even so, my husband and kids are amazing, fun people with whom I love to spend my time. They make me feel very loved.
WHAT AM I MOST INSECURE ABOUT?
I am a people-pleaser. I have been fighting it for many years. I don't like it when people don't approve of me! It makes me crazy to think that someone isn't behind what I'm doing or who I am.
HOW DO I HANDLE STRESS?
I completely abandon all my responsibilities. I let the dishes and email pile up. I put on comfy clothes, order take-out, and settle into Netflix on the couch.
WHY DO I WORK HERE?
I work here because I know I would be unfulfilled working in a job where I can't pursue my passions. I work here because I believe that each person has value beyond measure. I work here because it sits well with my soul.
